This is a website dedicated to the ancient art of crafting Chainmaille jewelry. You will find handmade jewelry pieces by the artist in the Jewelry section, classes available for learning chainmaille weaves and designs, and rings for sale which are the major components of chainmaille jewelry. Please enjoy browsing our website and return frequently as we will be continuing to add more material. Several years ago I began in the area of beading. This never seemed to quite satisfy my artistic desire. One day I signed up to take a class on weaving a Byzantine bracelet. From then on I was hooked on chainmaille. Over time my husband, Steve realized that I was serious in this craft, and he decided that he needed to join in. He then began to make the jump rings for my projects. Eventually, he has also learned to make some of the patterns. Together, we work in chainmaille and enjoy every minute of it. You will find rings that are handmade by Steve for sale on the website under the Rings section. You will also find Kits for sale in the Kits section. Each kit contains the easy-to-understand and illustrated pattern as well as the jump rings necessary to complete the project. Eventually, I wanted to share my knowledge with others and turned to teaching the craft at bead stores around the country. I make my own pattern directions from which I teach. For the last two year, I have also been teaching at some national beading shows. This has all been very rewarding. I will list on the website class dates and locations in the Classes section. Please join me if it is possible. If you have time, be sure to go to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page to learn many interesting things about chainmaille jewelry. I will be adding more to this page periodically, so check often.
